Lifetime Support:
At Mountain Maine Coons, we believe our relationship with you extends far beyond the moment you bring your kitten home. As dedicated breeders and lifelong Maine Coon enthusiasts, we’re here to offer guidance and support, both before and after you adopt. While we always do our best to ensure our kittens are healthy and well-socialized, we understand that unexpected situations may arise. Should you ever need assistance, we are committed to helping you — even in circumstances not covered by our health guarantee. We may not be able to guarantee a kitten will never face health challenges, but we promise to do everything in our power to support you and your new family member.
Our Health Guarantee:
We deeply value each of our kittens and understand that they are irreplaceable. However, in the unlikely event that your kitten passes away due to genetic issues or congenital disorders within two years of birth, we will offer a replacement kitten of equal value at no additional cost. A licensed veterinarian must confirm the cause of death.
If a kitten passes away due to genetics after the first two years, we offer a credit of 70% of the original purchase price toward a replacement kitten of equivalent value. Again, the cause must be verified by a licensed veterinarian.
What We Need From You:
Our goal is to see that you and your kitten thrive together. To ensure your kitten stays healthy, please follow these important steps:
Schedule a veterinary exam within 2 business days of bringing your kitten home and send us a copy of the medical record.
Your kitten will come with up-to-date vaccinations, so avoid vaccinating them within the first ten days of arrival.
Continue proper healthcare, including recommended de-worming and vaccinations, as advised by your veterinarian.
Exceptions to Our Guarantee:
While we stand by the health of our kittens, there are certain things we cannot guarantee:
We cannot guarantee temperament, size, color, markings, or breeding ability.
No replacement will be provided if the kitten becomes overweight or develops issues known to be common in certain breeds, such as hip dysplasia.
Failure to provide timely veterinary care and vaccinations will void the guarantee.
This guarantee does not cover spaying, neutering, or related procedures.
